This black polyester strapping is wound on a 16x3" core for compatibility with standard strapping dispensers and tensioning tools. At 1/2" wide by 4,500 feet per coil, it delivers substantial run length per unit and fits equipment designed for the 16x3" core format without adapter modifications.
Polyester strapping outperforms polypropylene in tension retention through transit and storage, making it a reliable choice for medium- to heavy-duty unitizing, palletizing, and load securing. Manufacturing facilities, building materials distributors, and heavy-goods fulfillment operations use it where load shift during transit is a concern. It is compatible with serrated or sandpaper seals for a secure closure and offers a non-corrosive, rust-free profile — roughly 80% lighter per coil than comparable steel strapping.
