3M™ 2020 Masking Tape is a general-purpose crepe paper tape designed for production and light industrial environments. At 5.2 mil thickness, the crepe backing conforms to contoured surfaces, tears cleanly by hand, and delivers reliable adhesion on hard and moderately rough substrates.
This tape supports bundling, labeling, color coding, light masking, and surface protection during manufacturing, assembly, and fulfillment operations. The rubber adhesive maintains bond integrity at temperatures up to 150°F for up to one hour, making it suitable for low-temperature spray and bake applications in paint booths and finishing lines.
Not recommended for use on uncured coatings, wallboard, wallpaper, or ceiling tile. Each case contains 48 rolls and ships via parcel carrier.
