3M™ 218 Masking Tape is a 5.0 mil green polypropylene film tape with a rubber-based adhesive, sold in a 3-roll pack with each roll measuring 1/2 inch wide by 60 yards long. The film construction provides solvent and moisture resistance, making it well-suited for masking applications where exposure to liquids or chemicals is a concern.
Rated to withstand temperatures up to 250°F for 30 minutes, this tape supports paint baking, powder coating, and other heat-involved finishing processes.
