3M™ 256 White Flatback Tape is a 6.7 mil flatback paper tape with a rubber adhesive backing. The white paper surface accepts flexographic printing and can be marked with ballpoint pens, felt-tip pens, and rubber stamps, making it one of the few tapes that supports on-roll identification without additional labeling.
This tape is used in warehouse, manufacturing, and fulfillment operations for bundling, splicing, masking, and product identification. The rubber adhesive bonds to paper, film, fabric, and yarn surfaces, and the tape withstands temperatures up to 200°F for up to one hour — supporting light heat-exposure tasks on packaging and assembly lines. It is not rated for outdoor or prolonged UV exposure.
Each roll measures 1/2 inch wide by 60 yards and is sold in cases of 12 rolls. Ships via parcel carrier.
