3M™ 2600 is a general-purpose, light-duty masking tape built on a 4.4 mil crepe paper backing with a rubber-based adhesive. The crepe construction allows clean hand-tear without a dispenser and conforms readily to curved or irregular surfaces, distinguishing it from flatback alternatives in the same duty class.

The writable surface accepts pens, pencils, and markers, making it a practical choice for temporary labeling, part identification, bundling, and surface protection in warehouses, manufacturing floors, paint shops, and distribution centers. The adhesive holds up to 150°F for one hour, supporting short-term paint masking and moderate-heat production environments.

Each roll is 1 inch wide by 60 yards long. Cases contain 36 rolls and ship via parcel carrier, keeping routine replenishment simple for facilities with ongoing tape consumption.
