The 3M™ 476XL Double Sided Extended Liner Tape is a 6.0 mil clear polypropylene film tape with a synthetic rubber quick-stick adhesive that delivers immediate tack and durable two-sided bonding. Its defining feature is the extended liner — a dry-edge design that projects beyond the tape width, giving operators a reliable grip point for fast, clean liner removal. Stated product widths include the dry-edge portion of the liner.

This tape is well suited for high-volume, repetitive bonding tasks where liner removal speed directly affects throughput. Common applications include e-commerce and fulfillment packaging, direct mail assembly, retail display construction, envelope and mailer sealing, and general manufacturing bonding on paper, film, and corrugated substrates.
