3M 4910 VHB Tape is a 40 mil clear acrylic foam tape with acrylic adhesive on both sides and a red polyethylene film liner. Its fully transparent construction delivers a permanent, load-bearing bond capable of replacing mechanical fasteners such as rivets, screws, spot welds, and liquid adhesives in structural and assembly applications where a colorless bond line is essential.
The 4910 formulation is engineered specifically for glass, acrylic, and other smooth or low-surface-energy substrates, making it a reliable choice for mounting backlit and translucent signage, bonding skylights and dome assemblies, edge-bonding resin-filled glass panels, and industrial fabrication environments where hardware-free attachment is required indoors or outdoors.
The tape is rated for continuous service from -40°F to 200°F and resists moisture, solvents, and UV exposure. Each roll measures 1 inch wide by 5 yards long and is sold individually.
