3M™ 4932 VHB™ (Very High Bond) Tape is a 25 mil white acrylic foam tape engineered with a low-surface-energy (LSE) adhesive for permanent, load-bearing bonds on substrates that resist conventional adhesives. A kraft paper liner protects the adhesive and supports clean, controlled application during assembly.

The LSE adhesive system is well suited to plastic enclosures, powder-coated and painted metal panels, appliance housings, and signage components where polypropylene, polystyrene, or coated metal surfaces make mechanical fastening impractical. In qualifying applications, it can replace rivets, screws, spot welds, and liquid adhesives, reducing surface damage and streamlining production workflows in electronics, automotive trim, and architectural fabrication environments.

The tape withstands moisture, solvent, and UV exposure across a service temperature range of -40°F to 160°F. Each roll measures 1/2 inch wide by 5 yards long and is sold as a single unit.
