3M™ 4947F VHB™ (Very High Bond) Tape delivers a permanent structural bond without mechanical fasteners, rivets, or liquid adhesives. The 45 mil black acrylic foam core carries acrylic adhesive on both sides, conforming to irregular and curved surfaces to maximize contact area and bond strength. UL 746C listing supports use in electronic product assemblies.

This tape is engineered for demanding environments in manufacturing, transportation, electronics assembly, architectural fabrication, and outdoor signage. It resists moisture, UV exposure, plasticizers, and solvents, making it equally effective in controlled indoor settings and harsh exterior conditions where long-term adhesion is critical.
