Description

3M™ 5915 VHB™ (Very High Bond) Tape is a 16 mil black acrylic foam tape with permanent acrylic adhesive on both sides, engineered as a structural alternative to mechanical fasteners such as rivets, spot welds, and liquid adhesives. A red polyethylene liner keeps the adhesive protected until application.

The conformable foam core makes consistent contact with irregular and uneven surfaces, supporting adhesion to metals, plastics, glass, and painted substrates. It performs reliably in demanding conditions including outdoor signage installation, electronics assembly, architectural panel bonding, and industrial fabrication where mechanical fasteners are impractical or undesirable.

Rated from -40°F to 250°F and resistant to moisture, solvents, and UV degradation, this tape carries UL 746C listing. Sold as a single roll, it is well-suited for precision bonding tasks or for evaluating performance before committing to higher-volume quantities. Ships via parcel carrier.
