3M™ 5915 VHB™ Tape is a 16 mil double-sided acrylic foam tape built for permanent, high-strength bonding. Its black acrylic foam core carries acrylic adhesive on both faces with a red polyethylene liner, delivering bond strength that replaces mechanical fasteners such as rivets, spot welds, and liquid adhesives in demanding assembly applications.
The tape conforms to irregular and curved surfaces, making it well suited for panel bonding, trim attachment, component mounting, and joining dissimilar materials in manufacturing, electronics assembly, architectural glazing, and transportation fabrication.
