3M™ 5952 VHB™ Tape is a 45 mil dark gray double-sided acrylic foam tape, 1 inch wide by 5 yards long, engineered to replace mechanical fasteners such as rivets, screws, spot welds, and liquid adhesives in structural bonding applications. The conformable foam core maintains continuous contact across moderately irregular or mixed substrates, creating a durable bond without surface penetration.

This tape is well suited to manufacturing assembly lines, architectural panel installation, signage fabrication, and electronics enclosure bonding, where a clean, fastener-free finish is required. The acrylic adhesive bonds reliably to metals, glass, powder-coated and painted surfaces, and a variety of plastics, and the cured bond withstands moisture, solvents, and prolonged UV exposure.
