3M™ 8919 Strapping Tape features a 7 mil clear polyester backing and a synthetic rubber adhesive, delivering a low-stretch, high-tension hold without the bulk of filament reinforcement. The combination of stiff polyester and aggressive rubber adhesive produces a flat, consistent lay that resists lifting under mechanical stress.

This tape is used for bundling, unitizing, and edge reinforcement in warehousing, manufacturing, distribution, and light industrial environments. It performs reliably on corrugated cartons, plastic surfaces, and wrapped goods where a firm, stable bond is needed through handling and transit.

The 7 mil polyester construction resists moisture, abrasion, and scuffing. The synthetic rubber adhesive bonds firmly to a variety of substrates and removes without staining most finished surfaces.
