3M™ 928 Adhesive Transfer Tape features a dual-sided acrylic adhesive construction: a low-tack, repositionable acrylic on one side and a medium-firm, permanent acrylic on the other. At 2.0 mil, this combination lets users temporarily position a bond, then commit it permanently — without adhesive residue remaining on the substrate at removal and without delaminating most paper stocks.

The tape suits high-volume assembly, mounting, splicing, and bonding tasks in printing, light manufacturing, and packaging operations. Its clean removal from paper, foil, and film substrates makes it particularly useful where repositioning before final placement is part of the workflow. Optimal application temperature is 70°F to 100°F.

Each roll is reverse-wound on a 1" core with a polycoated kraft paper liner that releases cleanly during application and is compatible with standard adhesive transfer tape dispensers. Sold as a 6-roll case.
