3M™ 9485PC Adhesive Transfer Tape is a 5.0 mil acrylic transfer tape with fiber reinforcement built into the adhesive layer. That reinforcement is what sets this product apart in narrow-width formats: it maintains roll integrity and prevents adhesive distortion during unwinding, delivering a consistent bond from the first yard to the last. The tape is supplied on a polycoated kraft paper liner engineered for clean, controlled release.
This tape is designed for permanent bonding of smooth, thin substrates where added bulk or visible hardware is not acceptable. Light manufacturing assembly, foam lamination, signage panel mounting, and plastic component bonding are all well-matched applications. The high-tack acrylic adhesive holds up under elevated temperatures and solvent exposure, making it a practical choice for demanding fabrication environments.
Each roll measures 1 inch wide by 60 yards long. The adhesive layer is 5.0 mil thick, carried on a polycoated kraft liner. Sold by the case in quantities of 36 rolls and ships via parcel.
