3M™ 950 Adhesive Transfer Tape is a 5 mil high-tack soft acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive carried on a densified kraft paper liner. The liner peels away after positioning, depositing only the adhesive layer onto the bonded surface — no carrier film remains in the finished assembly.
The soft acrylic formula bonds reliably to paper, films, foils, foam, metal, and most plastics, including difficult low-surface-energy substrates where standard adhesives fall short. Typical end uses include laminating, mounting, splicing, and component assembly in manufacturing, print finishing, signage fabrication, and electronics assembly environments.
Optimal adhesion is achieved when applied between 70°F and 100°F. Each roll measures 3 inches wide by 60 yards long on a 3-inch core. Cases contain 6 rolls and ship via parcel carrier.
