3M™ 9627 Adhesive Transfer Tape is a 5.0 mil medium firm rubber adhesive carried on a brown paper liner, designed for hand-dispensed application. Its quick-stick formulation achieves reliable high bond strength to both low surface energy (LSE) substrates — including polypropylene and powder-coated paints — and standard high surface energy (HSE) materials, making it one of the more versatile transfer tapes in this adhesive class.

The liner-based format transfers a clean adhesive layer without adding bulk to the finished bond, which suits assembly operations involving die-cut components, gaskets, plastic parts, and laminating tasks.
