3M™ Durable Floor Marking Tape 971 is a 17 mil heavy-duty vinyl tape engineered for permanent floor marking in high-traffic industrial environments. The green colorway integrates with color-coded safety and 5S organization systems, and the rubber-based adhesive forms a strong bond to concrete, sealed concrete, and asphalt surfaces.

This tape is well suited for warehouses, manufacturing floors, distribution centers, and cold-storage facilities operating between 40°F and 120°F. The 250% elongation rating allows the backing to conform to minor surface irregularities without cracking or lifting, maintaining crisp, legible lane and boundary markings under continuous forklift, pallet jack, and foot traffic.

At 17 mil total thickness, the vinyl construction resists abrasion and edge curling under load. Each case contains 6 rolls, with each roll providing 108 linear feet of coverage. The rubber adhesive is confirmed to remove without leaving residue, supporting future reconfiguration of floor layouts.
