3M™ Durable Floor Marking Tape 971 is a 17 mil thick red vinyl tape engineered for permanent floor marking in high-traffic industrial and commercial environments. Its heavy-duty vinyl backing resists abrasion from forklifts, pallet jacks, and foot traffic while maintaining color visibility over extended use.

The rubber-based adhesive bonds firmly to concrete, wood, and sealed floor surfaces and is formulated to remove cleanly without leaving adhesive residue. An elongation rating of 250% allows the tape to conform around floor irregularities without cracking or lifting, making it well suited for warehouses, manufacturing floors, distribution centers, and retail stockrooms operating in ambient temperature conditions.

Red color supports standard safety color-coding conventions for hazard zones, restricted areas, and traffic lanes. The tape performs reliably within an operating temperature range of 40°F to 120°F. Each case contains 3 rolls and ships via parcel carrier.
