3M™ 971 Durable Floor Marking Tape is a 17 mil white vinyl floor marking tape built for high-traffic industrial environments where marking clarity and durability are non-negotiable. Its heavy vinyl backing resists abrasion from forklifts, pallet jacks, and foot traffic without significant color fade or edge lifting, keeping aisle and safety markings legible over extended use.

This tape is well suited for warehouses, distribution centers, manufacturing plants, and fulfillment operations that require defined aisle lanes, safety zones, workstation boundaries, and equipment staging areas. The 4-inch width provides strong visual contrast against concrete and painted floor surfaces, meeting common industrial floor marking standards.

The rubber-based adhesive bonds firmly to concrete, sealed, and painted floors and is formulated to allow residue-free removal when layouts need to be reconfigured. The tape operates reliably in temperatures from 40°F to 120°F, covering both ambient and climate-controlled facilities. Each case contains 3 rolls and ships via parcel carrier.
