3M High Performance Green Masking Tape 401+ is a 6.7 mil crepe paper tape with a natural/synthetic rubber blend adhesive that bonds firmly to surfaces and removes cleanly in one piece without leaving adhesive residue behind. The 2-inch width delivers precise edge definition for demanding masking tasks.
The tape is rated to withstand temperatures up to 250°F for up to 30 minutes, making it well suited for industrial paint booths, powder coating lines, spray finishing operations, and automotive refinishing. Its crepe paper backing conforms to curved and irregular surfaces, and the formulation resists paint bleed-through and solvent exposure to produce sharp, defined paint lines.
