3M Performance Yellow Masking Tape 301+ is a 6.3 mil crepe paper tape with a rubber-based adhesive engineered for reliable bonding across smooth and moderately textured surfaces. Its defining feature is paint bleed-through resistance, which delivers crisp, clean paint lines on masked edges without lifting or edge seep.

This tape is well suited to industrial paint masking, color coding, bundling, holding, and marking tasks in manufacturing plants, automotive finishing shops, and production facilities. The crepe paper backing conforms to curved and irregular surfaces, making it practical for contoured parts and assemblies that flat-backed tapes cannot follow cleanly.

The adhesive withstands temperatures up to 225°F for up to 30 minutes, supporting light baking and curing cycles common in industrial finishing operations. Each case contains 36 rolls, providing sufficient volume for multi-station production lines or facilities maintaining standing tape inventory at several workstations. Ships via parcel.
