3M Performance Yellow Masking Tape 301+ is a 6.3 mil crepe paper-backed tape with a rubber-based adhesive, offered in 1-1/2" x 60-yard rolls and sold in cases of 24. The crepe construction allows the tape to flex and conform to contoured or irregular surfaces without lifting or buckling, distinguishing it from flat-backed masking alternatives.

This tape is suited to paint masking, bundling, holding, sealing, marking, and color-coding in automotive finishing, industrial manufacturing, and general production environments. The rubber-based adhesive resists paint bleed-through and supports clean, residue-free removal that produces crisp paint lines — particularly valuable in spray and brush finishing operations.

The 301+ is rated to withstand temperatures up to 225°F for up to 30 minutes, accommodating bake and cure cycles common in finishing workflows. Each case contains 24 rolls and ships via parcel carrier, supporting routine replenishment for production facilities and distribution centers.
