3M™ UV Resistant Green Masking Tape is a 4.8 mil crepe paper tape engineered to maintain adhesion and sharp paint lines for up to 14 days in UV-exposed environments — indoors or out. The crepe backing conforms readily to curved and irregular surfaces, and the adhesive bonds to painted surfaces, metal, glass, and plastics.
This tape is a reliable choice for exterior painting, automotive refinishing, construction masking, and any application where taped surfaces may sit in direct sunlight for extended periods. It also handles short-term heat exposure up to 175°F for up to 30 minutes, making it compatible with forced-air drying and short-cycle baking processes.
When removed within the 14-day rated window, the tape releases cleanly with minimal adhesive residue on most surfaces. Each case contains 24 rolls and ships via parcel carrier.
