3M Value Masking Tape 101+ is a 5.1 mil general-purpose tape built on a tan crepe paper backing with a rubber-based adhesive. The crepe construction allows clean hand-tearing and moderate conformability on slightly irregular surfaces, distinguishing it from flatback options where flexibility matters.
Rated for indoor use at temperatures up to 150°F for 30 minutes, this tape suits marking, bundling, temporary holding, surface protection, and light sealing tasks in warehouse, manufacturing, distribution, and paint-prep environments where brief heat exposure is a factor.
