Central® 270 Reinforced Water Activated Tape is a 3-inch wide, 450-foot kraft tape built with fiberglass yarn strands bonded between paper layers. That reinforced construction delivers tensile strength well beyond standard gummed kraft tape, and its patented starch-based adhesive activates on contact with water to form a tamper-evident seal that becomes permanently integrated with the carton surface.

This tape is a practical choice for high-volume carton sealing, edge and corner reinforcement, and securing heavy or irregularly shaped loads. Warehouses, fulfillment centers, manufacturers, and distribution operations rely on it where pressure-sensitive tapes fail under stress or temperature variation — the water-activated formula maintains adhesive performance in both extreme heat and cold. The fiberglass yarn reinforcement is removable during repulping, keeping the tape compatible with corrugated recycling streams.

Each case contains 10 rolls and is compatible with standard water-activated tape dispensers. The 3-inch width covers most single-strip sealing applications on standard box sizes without trimming or overlap adjustments.
