Kapton® polyimide tape in a 1-inch by 36-yard roll provides a combination of thermal, electrical, and chemical performance that standard synthetic films cannot match. The 1 mil polyimide film base delivers high dielectric strength, dimensional stability under heat, and resistance to abrasion and chemical exposure — properties that define it as a precision tape for demanding environments.
This tape is suited to circuit board assembly, semiconductor fabrication, fiber optic cable insulation, wave soldering masking, powder coating processes, and automotive sensor component protection. The silicone adhesive bonds securely at elevated temperatures and removes cleanly, making it appropriate for precision manufacturing where surface contamination cannot be tolerated.
