These 2-1/2 x 2-1/2 x 48" edge protectors are manufactured at .160" wall thickness, placing them in the medium duty range for load stabilization and corner protection. At 48 inches, each protector spans full standard pallet height and is engineered for use with stretch film or poly strapping to secure unitized loads.

Edge protectors distribute strapping force across a wider surface area, reducing strap cut-through on carton corners and maintaining load integrity during transit and storage. They are also used as internal structural reinforcement inside oversized cartons, improving corner rigidity and vertical stack strength in warehouse and distribution environments.
