Scotch® Filament Tape 893 is a 6.0 mil reinforced strapping tape with a clear polypropylene film backing woven with fiberglass yarn filaments and bonded with a synthetic rubber adhesive. The combination of film and filament construction delivers high tensile strength with minimal stretch, keeping strapped loads secure without tape creep or loosening under sustained tension.

This tape is well suited for bundling heavy components, reinforcing corrugated cartons, unitizing pallet loads, and securing manufactured goods for transit. Distribution centers, manufacturers, and third-party logistics operations rely on it where tape must hold under repetitive handling, moisture exposure, and abrasion during storage or shipment.
