Scotch® Filament Tape 893 is a 6.0 mil clear polypropylene strapping tape reinforced with fiberglass yarn filaments and bonded with a synthetic rubber adhesive. The glass yarn construction delivers high tensile strength with minimal stretch, preventing tape creep and keeping bundled loads secure throughout handling and transit.
This tape is well-suited for reinforcing corrugated cartons, bundling components, unitizing pallets, and securing heavy or irregularly shaped loads. It performs consistently in warehouse, manufacturing, and distribution environments where moisture exposure, abrasion, and surface scuffing are ongoing concerns.
The 6.0 mil polypropylene backing shields filaments and adhesive from physical damage, while the synthetic rubber adhesive bonds reliably to corrugated, plastic, and metal surfaces. Each case contains 6 rolls and is compatible with standard filament tape dispensers. Ships via parcel carrier.
