Scotch® Filament Tape 897 is a 6.0 mil strapping tape built on a clear polypropylene (Scotchpro™) backing reinforced with embedded fiberglass yarn filaments. The synthetic rubber adhesive bonds firmly to corrugated, metal, plastic, and most common packaging surfaces, delivering reliable hold for bundling, reinforcing, and unitizing tasks.

The narrow 3/4-inch profile makes this tape particularly effective for precision bundling of small components, closing folded carton ends, and reinforcing lightweight packages in manufacturing, electronics assembly, distribution centers, and retail fulfillment operations. High tensile strength relative to its width allows secure bundling with fewer wraps than wider strapping formats.

The Scotchpro™ polypropylene backing resists moisture, abrasion, and scuffing, preserving tape integrity through transit and storage. Each case contains 48 rolls and ships via parcel carrier.
