Scotch® Filament Tape 897 is a 6.0 mil biaxially oriented polypropylene tape reinforced with continuous glass yarn filaments. The synthetic rubber adhesive bonds firmly to corrugated cartons, plastic, metal, and most common packaging substrates without heat activation, delivering high tensile strength in a narrow 3/4-inch profile.

The narrow width makes this tape well-suited for precision bundling of components and parts, reinforcing box seams, securing rolled goods, palletizing, and strapping irregular loads. It performs reliably in warehouse receiving, manufacturing assembly lines, and distribution center outbound operations where clean, controlled tape placement matters.

The clear polypropylene backing resists moisture, abrasion, and scuffing. Each case contains 12 rolls and ships via parcel carrier. Compatible with standard filament tape dispensers.
