These 11 7/8 x 17 7/8 inch corrugated layer pads are manufactured from ECT-32 kraft corrugated board, delivering a rigid, lightweight barrier between stacked product layers inside shipping cartons. The B-flute construction provides consistent rigidity at a minimal weight of 0.119 lbs per pad, making them practical for high-volume packing operations where added mass must be controlled.

Layer pads serve several functions within a packed carton: they distribute weight evenly across stacked items, reduce product-to-product contact during transit, and protect contents from blade damage when cartons are opened at the receiving dock. Their flat rigid profile also makes them effective as envelope stiffeners when inserted into mailers or kraft envelopes for shipment of documents, prints, and other flat goods. Common users include e-commerce fulfillment centers, retail distributors, and light manufacturing packaging lines.
