Description

These 9 x 9 inch VCI (Volatile Corrosion Inhibitor) paper sheets are manufactured from 30 lb. basis weight paper and chemically treated to continuously emit corrosion-inhibiting vapors. Those vapors form a protective molecular layer on ferrous metal surfaces, blocking rust, oxidation, and tarnish without requiring direct contact with every surface — protection extends to enclosed areas as long as the paper surrounds or is in contact with the part.

Typical applications include wrapping machined components, hardware, fasteners, stampings, and precision metal assemblies prior to storage or shipment. Industries served include metalworking, automotive parts distribution, industrial manufacturing, and defense supply chains where moisture-related corrosion during transit or warehousing is a documented risk.

Sheets are 30 lb. basis weight paper with VCI chemical treatment applied during manufacturing. As a general guideline, one square foot of VCI paper per cubic foot of enclosed packaging volume is recommended for effective inhibition. Each case contains 1,000 sheets and ships via parcel carrier.
